Mity-lab-hankkeen järjestämä mikrobiologialuento ke 30.8. klo 9:30-11

Tervetuloa Mity-lab-hankkeen järjestämälle mikrobiologialuennolle ke 30.8. klo 9:30-11. Luennolla opit miksi mikrobiologia on tärkeää osana yrityksen laadunhallintaa ja tuotekehitystä. Luennolla käydään läpi mikrobiologian perustermejä, mikrobiologisia tutkimusmenetelmiä, vertailemme fenotyypisiä ja genotyypisiä menetelmiä, mitä vaatimuksia mikrobiologisella laboratoriolla on, ja mitä mikrobiologisia tutkimuksia Oulun yliopiston Mittaustekniikan yksikössä (MITY) (Kajaani) tehdään.

Luennon pitää MITY:n projektitutkija, PhD Antonina Shvetsova.

Osallistuminen on yrittäjille ja yritysten edustajille ilmaista de minimis -tuella. Myös opiskelijoilla osallistuminen on ilmaista. Muille luennon hinta on 90€ (sis. alv). Welcome to the microbiology lecture organized by the Mity-lab project on Wed 30.8. at 9:30-11. In the lecture, you will learn why microbiology is important as part of the company's quality management and product development. The lecture will cover basic microbiological terminology and will give an overview of the microbiological research methods and existing requirements for microbiological testing laboratories. Participants will also know about testing opportunities at the Measurement Technology Unit (MITY) of University of Oulu (Kajaani)

The lecture will be given by MITY's project researcher, PhD Antonina Shvetsova.

Participation is free for entrepreneurs and company representatives with de minimis support. Participation is also free for students. For others, the price of the lecture is €90 (incl. VAT). “MICROBIAL TESTING IN QUALITY CONTROL
AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT”

The Mity Lab project organizes a training lecture 'MICROBIAL TESTING IN QUALITY CONTROL AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT '.

The target group: R&D personnel and other workers involved in the process of product
development, QA/QC, and distribution: laboratory technicians, safety specialists, quality control
analysts, marketers, management representatives. In addition, staff of research institutes,
university students and students at professional schools who need basic knowledge of methods in
microbiological QA/QC monitoring, will benefit from the training.

The aim: The lecture will cover basics in microbiological terminology and give a comprehensive
overview of the laboratory methods of microbiological monitoring needed for optimization, quality
assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) of both production process and the final products.

Seminar and learning materials are utilized in the Mity Lab project's Talent program.

Training section: Duration: approx. 1 h + questions.

The content of the training:

▪ Basic terminology.
▪ Why microbiological tests?
▪ Methods for microbial detection, characterization, and enumeration.
▪ Phenotypic vs Genotypic.
▪ Requirements for microbial testing laboratories.
▪ Microbiological tests at MITY.

Price: With de minimis support and free of charge for students, for others 90 € (incl. VAT)
(companies fill out a de minimis form. The form will be sent to the participants after registration)
Learning material: The material remains with the trainees
